I’m originally from Colorado, but have called Isla Mujeres home since 2011.

Since 2005, I’ve photographed over 600 weddings across the U.S. and Mexico, capturing moments in a way that feels natural, honest, and lasting. For the past decade, I’ve also specialized in planning intimate destination weddings and elopements on Isla Mujeres, helping couples create celebrations that feel meaningful, personal, and beautifully uncomplicated.

Two Proposal Options for Your Celebration

To help you choose the direction that feels most aligned with your vision, we’ve created two distinct proposals—each offering a different setting and flow for your day, while maintaining the same level of intention, design, and experience.

The first proposal is a seamless, one-location experience at Loretta's Beach Club, where your ceremony, portraits, cocktails, dinner, and evening celebration all unfold in one private beachfront setting. It’s effortless, connected, and allows you and your guests to remain fully immersed from beginning to end.

The second proposal offers a two-location experience, beginning with your ceremony, champagne toast, and portraits at Vilavento Beach Club—a secluded and intimate stretch of beach—before transitioning by taxi to Caribbean Garden for dinner and your evening celebration. This creates a natural shift in energy, moving from a quiet, private ceremony into a warm, lively reception atmosphere.

Both proposals are thoughtfully designed—it simply comes down to which setting and flow feels right for you.

Loretta’s Beach Club

Set along the shoreline at Loretta's Beach Club, this is a place where everything can unfold in one beautiful, private setting. For your celebration, the entire space is yours—offering the ease of having your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and evening celebration all in one place, without ever needing to move from one venue to another.

This “all in one place” experience means less logistics, more ease, and the ability to stay fully immersed in the moment—surrounded by the people you love, with the rhythm of the ocean and the beauty of the setting carrying you from one part of the day to the next.

Your ceremony begins in the later afternoon, about an hour and a half before sunset, to take advantage of the most beautiful light of the day. From there, the celebration moves naturally into a champagne toast, photographs, and sunset then transitions seamlessly beneath the palapa for dinner, candlelight, and dancing.

It feels relaxed, intimate, and beautifully connected—more like gathering in a private seaside home than hosting an event. At Loretta's Beach Club, your entire celebration unfolds in one beautifully connected, beachfront setting—allowing the day to flow naturally without the need to move between locations.

Vilavento Beach Club & Caribbean Garden

The second proposal offers a two-location experience, beginning with your ceremony, champagne toast, and portraits at Vilavento Beach Club—a secluded and intimate stretch of beach—before transitioning by taxi to Caribbean Garden for dinner and your evening celebration. This creates a natural shift in energy, moving from a quiet, private ceremony into a warm, lively reception atmosphere.

At Caribbean Garden, the dinner and evening celebration unfold in a warm, open-air setting beneath a thatched palapa, surrounded by lush greenery and natural textures. Wooden tables, woven details, and soft, filtered light create an atmosphere that feels grounded, inviting, and effortlessly intimate.

It’s a space that feels less like a traditional venue and more like a hidden, tropical gathering place—where the focus naturally shifts to connection, conversation, and the experience of being together.

The Experience

No matter which proposal you choose, the experience for you and your guests will feel thoughtful, intimate, and beautifully effortless. Here’s a glimpse into how your day unfolds.

Arrival & Ceremony

As your guests arrive, they will have some time to mingle, settle in, and take in the beauty of the setting before being invited to sit for your beach ceremony.

Then, toes in the sand, gentle waves kiss the shore, and no distractions pulling you out of the moment. You exchange vows on a private stretch of beach.

Your ceremony unfolds beneath a bamboo arch adorned with florals and greenery, with a custom ceremony script written especially for you—reflecting your story, your values, and what matters most about this moment.

Your bouquet and boutonnière add another personal layer to the setting, while the soft sounds of live acoustic guitar—Bossa Nova and Spanish music—drift through the air.

Sunset Celebration

Following the ceremony, you celebrate with a champagne toast, embrace the people you love, and gather for photographs as the sun begins to lower. This is when the light turns soft and golden, the music continues, and everyone lingers together, enjoying that beautiful in-between time that feels unhurried and full of atmosphere.

Dinner & The Evening Ahead

As evening falls, the celebration transitions to dinner, where tables dressed with florals and candlelight create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The guitarist continues through dinner, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere as everyone settles in to share a beautiful meal together.

This is a natural time for a few words to be shared—a toast, a blessing, a story, laughter around the table.

As dinner gives way to evening, the celebration shifts again. A second musician joins in, the energy lifts, and the night opens into your first dance, followed by dancing, mingling, and time spent simply enjoying being together under the stars.

Included in Both Collections

Couple’s Session at Punta Sur
Included is a one-hour couple’s session at Punta Sur, which can take place on your wedding day before the ceremony or on a separate day, with additional transportation and entrance fees included.

This gives you the best of both worlds—the soft, romantic beauty of your beach celebration and the dramatic ocean vistas and natural beauty of Punta Sur. With its cliffs, sea views, and striking landscape, it offers a completely different feel and adds another layer to the story of your celebration.

Private Use of your Venue(s) for your Wedding Celebration
Exclusive rights at the location(s) you choose for your ceremony and reception.

Photography Coverage (3 hours)
Three hours of photography coverage by Susan Pacek which includes a couple’s session at Punta Sur (on your wedding day or on a separate day), along with photography coverage from guest arrival and welcome cocktails through your beach ceremony, sunset portraits, and the natural flow of the experience until everyone is seated for dinner.

You will receive a curated gallery of 300+ edited, high resolution images delivered via digital download. Additionally, a private, online gallery is provided for three months to sharing with family and friends.

A Ceremony That Tells Your Story
Your ceremony is led by Sabina Tamm and created to reflect your relationship in a way that feels deeply personal and true to you. Through a thoughtful questionnaire and collaborative process, Sabina crafts a custom ceremony rooted in your story, your values, and the meaning behind this moment. This is not a template or pre-written script—it is a ceremony created specifically for you.

Ceremony Details & Personal Touches
Included are the thoughtful details that help shape the look and feel of your ceremony, including a bamboo wedding arch with curated styling and florals, bamboo ceremony chairs, a bridal bouquet and boutonnière, and flower petals for a meaningful ocean offering.

You’ll have the opportunity to choose your ceremony arch style from our inspiration boards and select your floral color palette—allowing these elements to reflect your vision in a simple, cohesive, and personal way.

Dinner Styling & Tablescape
As the celebration transitions into dinner, the table is thoughtfully styled with florals and candlelight to create a warm, inviting atmosphere.

These details are designed to complement the natural beauty of the setting and carry a sense of cohesion from ceremony into evening—creating a dinner space that feels intimate, relaxed, and beautifully considered.

Dinner & Dessert
Dinner is designed to feel relaxed and celebratory, offered as a thoughtfully curated three-course, sit-down dining experience.

Dessert is also included, offering a sweet finish to the evening as the celebration continues.

Beverages & Bar
A champagne toast follows the ceremony as everyone gathers to celebrate and enjoy sunset.

A three-hour open bar is included during dinner and the evening reception. This is based on a “nacional” (standard) bar, which includes house liquors, beer, and wine. If you’d prefer a premium/top-shelf (“internacional”) bar, that can be added for an additional cost.

Live Music
Live music is woven throughout the flow of your celebration, adding warmth, atmosphere, and energy as the day unfolds. An acoustic guitarist performs Spanish and Bossa Nova as guests arrive, during the ceremony processional, and thru sunset and dinner, creating a relaxed and intimate ambiance throughout these moments.

For the evening celebration after dinner, the music shifts as a second musician joins on percussion, creating a two-piece live performance that brings a lively, celebratory energy for your first dance, mingling, and dancing.

Transportation
Transportation via taxis to and from the venue(s) is included for you and your guests.

Coordination & Planning

Included is thoughtful coordination to bring all elements together in a seamless and effortless way. From shaping the flow and timing of the day to coordinating the ceremony, photography, music, dining, and transportation, every detail is carefully managed so the celebration unfolds naturally.

This also includes guidance throughout the planning process—helping with selections for ceremony details, florals, and dining, while coordinating logistics behind the scenes and serving as your point of contact along the way.

The intention is simple: for you to feel supported in the planning, present in the experience, and free to fully enjoy your celebration.

Note: This proposal is based on 30 guests, which meets the minimum required for exclusivity and a Wednesday celebration in March 2027. Available dates are March 3, 10, or 17 to avoid the busy Semana Santa/Semana de Pascua holiday period. Additional guests may be accommodated at an added per-person cost.

A Natural Flow for the Day

The timeline below is a draft to help you envision the flow of the celebration and how the experience unfolds for a March 2027 celebration.

If you choose to have your couple’s session at Punta Sur on the wedding day, it would take place before the timeline below begins, with ample time built in to return to your beachside ceremony venue and freshen up before guests arrive. Alternatively, the session can take place on a separate day.

For the Vilavento and Carribbean Garden Collection, additional time will be added for transportation between the venues.
