I’m originally from Colorado, but have called Isla Mujeres home since 2011.

Since 2005, I’ve photographed over 600 weddings across the U.S. and Mexico, capturing moments in a way that feels natural, honest, and lasting. For the past decade, I’ve also specialized in planning intimate destination weddings and elopements on Isla Mujeres, helping couples create celebrations that feel meaningful, personal, and beautifully uncomplicated.

I guide both the experience and the photography with intention and ease—so you can feel present, grounded, and fully experience your day as it unfolds.

Originally from Germany, I’ve called Isla Mujeres home for over 30 years. The island continues to inspire every ceremony I create and every floral design I bring to life.

As a non-denominational celebrant, I craft ceremonies that feel deeply personal, inclusive, and true to each couple’s story.

Through my floral work, I design with local, natural elements—creating pieces that feel organic, intentional, and beautifully connected to the surroundings.

Your ceremony is led by Sabina Tamm, a non-denominational celebrant who is devoted to creating something that feels truly and unmistakably you.

To begin, we invite you to complete a thoughtful questionnaire. It’s more than just information—it’s your story, your heart, and the foundation of everything we’ll create together.

Once received, Sabina carefully reads through your responses to understand your voice, your relationship, and what matters most to you.

From there, she crafts a fully personalized ceremony—one that reflects who you are, how you love, and the meaning behind this moment. You’ll receive a draft to review, with the opportunity to refine or add anything you’d like.

We take the time to truly get to know you—your values, your connection, and what makes your relationship unique. This isn’t a template or a pre-written script. It’s a ceremony built entirely around you.

The Experience

The experience for you and your guests will feel thoughtful, intimate, and beautifully effortless.

Here’s a glimpse into how your day unfolds.

Arrival & Ceremony

As your guests arrive, they will have some time to mingle, settle in, and take in the beauty of the setting before being invited to sit for your beach ceremony.

Then, toes in the sand, gentle waves kiss the shore, and no distractions pulling you out of the moment. You exchange vows on a private stretch of beach.

Your ceremony unfolds beneath a bamboo arch adorned with florals and greenery, with a custom ceremony script written especially for you—reflecting your story, your values, and what matters most about this moment.

Your bouquet and boutonnière add another personal layer to the setting, while the soft sounds of live acoustic guitar—Bossa Nova and Spanish music—drift through the air.

Sunset Celebration

Following the ceremony, you celebrate with a champagne toast, embrace the people you love, and gather for photographs as the sun begins to lower. This is when the light turns soft and golden, the music continues, and everyone lingers together, enjoying that beautiful in-between time that feels unhurried and full of atmosphere.

Dinner Options

As the sun dips below the horizon and your ceremony and photos come to a close, the celebration gently transitions into dinner.

You may choose to make a reservation at one of the island’s beautiful restaurants on your own, or, if you prefer a more seamless experience, we can make the reservation and coordinate the evening for you with the restaurant we work with—this is offered as an additional service.

When arranged by us, the table is set with soft candlelight and florals, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere as everyone settles in to share a beautiful meal together. You’ll have a selection of menu options to choose from, along with beverage packages to suit the style of your evening.

This is a time to slow down, to connect, and to simply enjoy being together.

a toast, a blessing, a story—followed by laughter around the table.

A cake cutting adds a sweet, celebratory moment, and throughout it all, photography continues to capture these moments as they naturally unfold.

There’s no big reception, no DJ, no open dance floor—just a relaxed, meaningful evening with the people who matter most.

Private Use of our Beach Ceremony Site
Exclusive rights to our private beach location for your ceremony.

Photography Coverage (1 hour)
One hour of photography by Susan Pacek for your private beach ceremony and portraits through sunset.

You will receive a curated gallery of 100+ edited, high resolution images delivered via digital download. Additionally, a private, online gallery is provided for three months to sharing with family and friends.

A Ceremony That Tells Your Story
Your ceremony is led by Sabina Tamm and created to reflect your relationship in a way that feels deeply personal and true to you. Through a thoughtful questionnaire and collaborative process, Sabina crafts a custom ceremony rooted in your story, your values, and the meaning behind this moment. This is not a template or pre-written script—it is a ceremony created specifically for you.

Ceremony Details & Personal Touches
Included are the thoughtful details that help shape the look and feel of your ceremony, including a bamboo wedding arch with curated styling and florals, bamboo ceremony chairs, a bridal bouquet and boutonnière, and flower petals for a meaningful ocean offering.

You’ll have the opportunity to choose your ceremony arch style from our inspiration boards and select your floral color palette—allowing these elements to reflect your vision in a simple, cohesive, and personal way.

Champagne Toast
A champagne toast follows the ceremony as everyone gathers to celebrate and enjoy sunset. Choose from dry, sweet or non-alcoholic.

An acoustic guitarist performs Spanish and Bossa Nova as guests arrive, during the ceremony processional, and thru sunset, creating a relaxed and intimate ambiance throughout these moments.

Transportation
Taxi transportation to and from the ceremony location is included for the couple. We’re happy to coordinate transportation for your guests as well, which can be arranged for an additional fee.

Coordination & Planning
Coordination is included to bring everything together in a seamless, effortless way. From the flow and timing of the day to the ceremony, photography, music, and transportation, each detail is carefully managed so the experience unfolds naturally.

Dinner Styling & Tablescape
As the celebration transitions into dinner, the table is thoughtfully styled with florals and candlelight to create a warm, inviting atmosphere.

These details are designed to complement the natural beauty of the setting and carry a sense of cohesion from ceremony into evening—creating a dinner space that feels intimate, relaxed, and beautifully considered.

Dinner & Dessert
Dinner is designed to feel relaxed and celebratory, offered as a thoughtfully curated three-course, sit-down dining experience.

Dessert is also included, offering a sweet finish to the evening as the celebration continues.

Beverages & Bar
A champagne toast follows the ceremony as everyone gathers to celebrate and enjoy sunset.

A three-hour open bar is included during dinner and the evening reception. This is based on a “nacional” (standard) bar, which includes house liquors, beer, and wine. If you’d prefer a premium/top-shelf (“internacional”) bar, that can be added for an additional cost.

Live Music
Live music is woven throughout the flow of your celebration, adding warmth, atmosphere, and energy as the day unfolds. An acoustic guitarist performs Spanish and Bossa Nova as guests arrive, during the ceremony processional, and thru sunset and dinner, creating a relaxed and intimate ambiance throughout these moments.

For the evening celebration after dinner, the music shifts as a second musician joins on percussion, creating a two-piece live performance that brings a lively, celebratory energy for your first dance, mingling, and dancing.

Transportation
Transportation via taxis to and from the venue(s) is included for you and your guests.

Everything in Collection I Plus…

Couple’s Session at Punta Sur

Included is a one-hour couple’s session at Punta Sur, held on your wedding day prior to the ceremony. Transportation and entrance fees are included, and time is built in for you to freshen up before the ceremony begins.

This experience offers a beautiful contrast to your beach celebration—combining the soft, romantic feel of the shoreline with the dramatic cliffs and sweeping ocean views of Punta Sur.

It adds variety to your images and another dimension to the story of your day.

Photography Coverage (2 hours)
Two hours of photography by Susan Pacek, beginning with a pre-ceremony couple’s session at Punta Sur, followed by coverage at the private beach for your ceremony and portraits through sunset.

You will receive a curated gallery of 200+ edited, high resolution images delivered via digital download. Additionally, a private, online gallery is provided for three months to sharing with family and friends.

A Natural Flow for the Day

The timeline below is a draft to help you envision the flow of the celebration and how the experience unfolds.

If you choose to have your couple’s session at Punta Sur on the wedding day, it would take place before the timeline below begins, with ample time built in to return to your beachside ceremony venue and freshen up before guests arrive. Alternatively, the session can take place on a separate day.

5:30 — Everyone arrives to your private beach ceremony venue
5:50 — Guests are invited to be seated for the ceremony
6:00 — Ceremony begins
6:15 — Ceremony concludes | Champagne Toast + Photos
7:00 — Sunset
7:15 — Taxis arrive and bring you back to your hotel, the restaurant of your choice, or the dining experience we offer
7:30 — Dinner begins | Toasts
