I’m originally from Colorado, but have called Isla Mujeres home since 2011.

Since 2005, I’ve photographed over 600 weddings across the U.S. and Mexico, capturing moments in a way that feels natural, honest, and lasting. For the past decade, I’ve also specialized in planning intimate destination weddings and elopements on Isla Mujeres, helping couples create celebrations that feel meaningful, personal, and beautifully uncomplicated.

I guide both the experience and the photography with intention and ease—so you can feel present, grounded, and fully experience your day as it unfolds.

Originally from Germany, I’ve called Isla Mujeres home for over 30 years. The island continues to inspire every ceremony I create and every floral design I bring to life.

As a non-denominational celebrant, I craft ceremonies that feel deeply personal, inclusive, and true to each couple’s story.

Through my floral work, I design with local, natural elements—creating pieces that feel organic, intentional, and beautifully connected to the surroundings.

We are proud to partner with Loretta’s Beach Club to offer a refined yet relaxed oceanfront setting for your private ceremony and dinner experience. Located along the quieter southern side of the island, the space blends elevated design with a warm, inviting atmosphere—open-air, softly lit, and overlooking the Caribbean.

This experience is designed for couples who value intimacy, connection, and simplicity. No DJ, no large reception—just a meaningful gathering with the people who matter most, set in a beautiful and intentional way.

Here’s a glimpse into how your day unfolds.

Arrival & Ceremony

As your guests arrive, they’re welcomed into the space with time to settle in, connect, and take in the natural beauty around them before being invited to the beach for your ceremony.

Barefoot in the sand, with the sound of gentle waves and nothing to distract from the moment, you exchange vows in a setting that feels calm, present, and deeply personal.

Your ceremony takes place beneath a bamboo arch, styled with florals and greenery, and is guided by a custom-written script created specifically for you—reflecting your story, your values, and what this moment means.

As you walk down the aisle, the soft sounds of live acoustic guitar—Spanish and Bossa Nova—carry through the air, adding a subtle, romantic energy to the experience.

Your bouquet and boutonnière bring in a final, thoughtful layer of detail.

Dinner & The Evening Ahead

As evening settles in, the experience transitions seamlessly into dinner. Candlelit tables create a warm and inviting setting, while the guitarist continues to play, carrying the same relaxed, intimate energy into the evening.

This is a natural time for connection—shared stories, a toast, laughter around the table, and simply being present with one another.

If you’d like, a wedding cake can be brought in, or you may choose to enjoy the desserts offered on-site. For those wanting to extend the evening just a bit further, a second musician can be added to introduce a slightly more elevated energy—still relaxed, but with a touch more movement.

Perhaps you share a first dance, invite others to join, or simply continue mingling under the stars—ending the evening in a way that feels effortless, personal, and true to you.

Sunset Celebration

Following the ceremony, the atmosphere shifts naturally into celebration. You gather with your guests for a margarita toast, share embraces, and move into portraits as the sun begins to lower.

This is when the light softens and turns golden—arguably the most beautiful time of day. The music continues, conversations flow, and everyone lingers together in that unhurried, in-between space that feels both relaxed and meaningful.

If you choose to have a pre-ceremony couple’s session at Punta Sur, it would take place before the timeline below begins, with ample time built in to return to your beachside ceremony venue and freshen up before guests arrive.

Music Options

Live music for your evening is offered through an acoustic guitarist performing Spanish and Bossa Nova—creating a relaxed, romantic ambiance that flows naturally throughout dinner.

For a more elevated and energetic feel, you may choose to add a second musician on percussion, forming a two-piece performance that brings a lively, celebratory rhythm to the evening while still maintaining an intimate atmosphere.

To preserve the tone and flow of the experience, we do not offer DJ services or outside music. All music is thoughtfully curated through these live options to ensure a cohesive and refined celebration.

One Guitarist (2 sets) - $400 USD

Guitarist Plus Second Musician on Percussion (2 sets) - $800 USD

Additional Photography Coverage

If you would like photography coverage to continue beyond sunset and into your dinner experience, additional coverage is available at $350 USD per hour.

This allows for the capture of candid moments, toasts, cake cutting, and the natural flow of the evening in a more intimate, low-light setting.

Step 1: Choose the dinner and bar service options, music and additional photography wishes that best fits your vision, and secure your date with a signed contract and 50% retainer. If you’re still finalizing your guest count, no problem—we can base the agreement on the guests you know are attending and add any additional guests later as your plans are confirmed (final counts may be increased, but not reduced).
